The Pub

At the heart of the pub is our bar offering a great selection of real ales, lagers, wines, ciders, bottled drinks, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages carefully managed and selected to suit a wide range of tastes. We are renowned locally to be the best "Bass House" in Macclesfield and it is indeed our most popular beer. If beer is your preference then why not give our ever-changing guest ales a go as well. We are proud to have been awarded both the Macclesfield & East Cheshire CAMRA "Summer Pub of the Season" - September 2014 and GEM (Gilt Edged Member) status by Castle Rock Brewery - May 2015.
 
To go with your drink we have a great selection of bar snacks or why not try our increasingly popular sandwiches. Made fresh every day with a variety of fillings they are a bargain at £2.00/£2.50! If you fancy something a bit more substantial then we also serve great food in Mucker's Steak House (advanced bookings only) directly above the pub.
